The word respect needs a little more love and caring.

Sometimes people use the word “respect” to mean “treating someone like a person” and
sometimes they use it to mean “treating someone like an authority”.

And sometimes people who are used to being treated like an authority say
“If you won´t respect me I won´t respect you” and they often mean
“if you don´t treat me like an authority I won´t treat you like a person”.

And they imagine that they are being fair but they aren´t and it is not okay.

I have met many persons who have hade this kind of belief of what the word respect means to them.
That it is different from them and the other. The interpretation and meaning.

I would like us all to lift the word respect and give it a little more love and
caring and thought to what it really means to us.
The only thing I am sure of now is that the word for me is a lot about trust.
And that it is like a palindrom. If you can´t give it – you can´t get it.

And when I give it I have to give it unconditionally. Just like love. And caring.  In generosity.
